The rules here in the emerald mist are very simple. Most are basic be kind, be respectful things and the others are simply common sence. Note: If you do not like or agree to any of the following rules, this is not the pack for you. Be sure to read and understand these rules completely, If you do not understand please contact a channel operator/council member. "I didnt know" will not save you from a ban. The rules are set in place for a reason. Obey them or leave.

In Character

+~Characters Loyalty is everything in EmeraldMysts. While you may use multiple characters, only one may be a member of any given pack. If it is found that you are in two packs at the same time, a ban will be set. If you wish to leave EmeraldMysts to join another pack, please contact a council member.

+~Character Death If you wish to kill off your character in the In Character channel of the EmeraldMysts, please consult an alpha or council member.

+~Hierarchy Wolf families, Packs, are run by a strick social hierarchy. Wolves must lower their body posture and bare their neck to each other in greeting as a show of respect. Upon approaching or being approached by an alpha, this position must be held till you are dismissed from it

+~Courting/Mating This process is alot like the dating/marriage portion of our twolegged selves. If you find that special wolf and you belive you would like to begin courting or "dating" then you must ask permission of an alpha. After a time when both wolves feel they are ready you may advance to becoming mates. This must also be brought up to an alpha. You may only have one court/mate at any given time and Out-of-Pack Courting or dating is not aloud.

+~Breeding Only mates may breed. No Exceptions. Mating, if roleplayed out must be done in a den, not in the public channels. Mates must decide how many pups they will have and decide on a birthdate (60 days give or take since breeding) Mating is only to be done between December and February. Mating done outside that time frame will be punishable. Mates must find players for their pups, any pups remaining playerless by the time of the birthdate, are either born still born or die days after.

+~Plots Plots are planned out story lines. These ideas must be brought up with an Alpha and confirmed before they are carried out

+~Activity You must be active. Inactivity will result in removal from the pack and being kicked from the channel.

+~Language The only foul word to be used in the In character channel is Bitch and it must be pretaning to the gender of a female wolf. Any other use of this word or any other foul language will be followed by a warning or ban

Out Of Character

+~Nicknames Your name must remain as your wolf's name. This prevents confusion. The only time your nickname may be changed is if it is followed by an away message. Only Rare exceptions apply to this rule
+~Away Messages If you will be leaving your computer unattended for more then a few min please set an away beside your name. For example if you need to go and eat dinner type /nick WolfName|Dinner Something to let us know that you are not at the computer at the time.

+~Roleplay If there are more then 5 active members in the Out of Character channel there needs to be Roleplay in the In Character channel. When the channel is moderated by an op, you must roleplay if you wish to OOC. If you do not then you must leave the channel or put an Away message in your name.

+~Relationships Do not bring your lovy dovy crap into the channels. Just because your significant other is in the room does not mean you have to Roleplay with only them. Or act all cute and cuddly and nausious in the channels. Please keep it in PM.

+~Cybering/Yiffing Stricktly prohibited. If caught an immediate perminant ban will be set

+~Language Foul language is not completely prohibited in the Out of Character channel but do try and keep it to a minimum. Excessive foul language will result in a warning and a kick.

Understand that if you have the rejoin on kick setting enabled then in the event you are kicked from the channel a ban may be set if you are not actually present. Channel Operators must be obeyed, if you do not like what they are doing, listen for the time being and bring your concerns to an alpha as soon as possible. If Operators find any other reason other then that listed here to ban you, it will be discussed by the council. Thank you
