The EmeraldMysts clearing is where the pack spends most of its time. Most of the dens are located near this area. Lush and green in the spring and summer, it is no wonder how the pack got its name while in the fall and winter, the clearing slowly looses its emerald touch replacing it with the sunset colors of autumn then to a winter wonderland of snow. With the rise and fall of the sun each day, the mist comes to hover like a spector over the clearing.
The creek
A slow moving creek ambles through the clearing cutting it in half, though it is easy for a healthy wolf to leap over the width of the creek, it harbors many tiny fish, making their way down stream. The current here is gentle enough for whelps to splash about and for others to drink deeply from its refreashing contents. In the winter, this bit of water turns to ice, though it is usually fragile and easy to break.
Emeraldforest
The Emerald forest contains over half of the wolves prey, who seek the protection of the trees and foliage. In the summer months, the forest floor is littered with pine needles and the leaves of other evergreens while in the winter, snow falls from the branches of the trees creating piles and snowdrifts. Tall trees tower over many different kinds of shrubs and bushes.
EmeraldFalls
The emerald falls are what feed the creek that slushes through the clearing. Water, tinted green from the moss that lay underneath, clinging to the rocks below, cascade down a declining rockface. Behind this rockface, the alpha's den. A large cavern in the rocks, passed down from alpha to alpha, since the beginning of our pack's creation
Hotsprings
On the opposite side of the creek a small body of water can be found, steam rising from the liquid even in the cold winter. This pool does not freeze, for below the rock at its base there is a lava tube that warms the ground and thus the water above it. This is a nice area for a cold wolf to warm up.
Meeting Arena
When meetings are called, we gather around a large fallen tree that has been their since the beginning of our pack's creation. Back in the day of its creators, the tree was still visiable, today, it is covered in moss (or snow in the winter) and only bits of bark can be seen. It is here where the alphas perch themselves to host meetings.
